Hearts and Circle is a study in applying metals to canvas. The stitches are padded, and some are worked directly onto the Congress cloth.

Threads include wire check purl #5, gold braid, #1 Japan gold, passing thread, pearl purl #2, pearl purl size super, and gold twist.

Stitches include the burden stitch, couching, alternating continental and diagonal mosaic and applying padding.
