The Bird is a favorite design. Worked in Rozashi the challenge is to outline him and create the fine detail found in the tail feathers and comb.

The stitches used to create this handsome bird are: line, satin, irregular and 3-dan stitch.

The threads are silk: charcoal gray, red, and white with a bright blue background. The special thread used in the tail feathers are a 5-color metallic. The finished piece measures 3.75 inches wide X 6 inches high
